RXD22Ti

The RXD22Ti utilizes a titanium tube housing a 3D-printed PVD-coated single-piece Triskelion core. This construction differs from traditional stacked baffle designs found in most rimfire suppressors. According to Dead Air, this approach helps minimize first-round pop while maintaining consistent sound suppression across multiple shots.

Key specifications for the RXD22Ti include:

  • Caliber Rating: .22LR, .22 Magnum, .17HMR, .17WSM, 5.7x28mm
  • Energy Rating: 850 FPS
  • Length: 5.6 inches
  • Materials: 6AL4V Titanium
  • Finish Options: Black or Burnt Bronze Cerakote

  • Barrel Restrictions: None
  • Full Auto Rating: .22LR (full-auto), .17HMR, .22WSM (semi-auto)

A notable feature of the RXD22Ti is the included XRF muzzle brake, specifically designed to capture lead residue before it enters the suppressor. This addresses a common maintenance issue with rimfire suppressors, which typically require more frequent cleaning due to lead buildup.

Caliber ratings for the new suppressor include .22LR (full-auto rated), .22 Magnum, .17HMR, .17WSM, and 5.7x28mm. The RXD22Ti has no barrel length restrictions, making it compatible with both rifle and pistol platforms. The suppressor measures 5.6 inches in length and is constructed from 6AL4V titanium.

RXD22Ti

Available in both Black and Burnt Bronze Cerakote finishes, the RXD22Ti ships with the XRF muzzle brake and a dedicated wrench kit. The product represents the second release in the RXD lineup following the RXD30Ti centerfire suppressor introduced earlier.

The collaboration between Dead Air and Ruger continues to produce products that combine Dead Air’s suppressor expertise with complementary features for Ruger’s firearms. Both companies emphasize that these are not rebranded products but rather newly developed designs focused on performance and maintainability.

With its titanium construction, innovative core design, and specialized muzzle brake, the RXD22Ti enters a competitive market where rimfire suppressors typically range from $200 for aluminum models to $500+ for premium titanium options.
