Wooldridge Boats, the leader in outboard jet boat design and cutting-edge shallow water runners, has brought out a new boat this year with the revolutionary new Rogue 18′ HDPE boat. While the material is modern, Wooldridge Boats has over 100 years of river boat knowledge. Starting in 1915 with “Grandpa” Glen Wooldridge building his first boat to float down the Rogue River in Oregon. Four generations of river boat building knowledge have been rolled into this new modern design.
This fully welded HDPE (high-density polyethylene) outboard jet boat incorporates years of proven designs and concepts into its hull. The design incorporates a 9º deadrise with the exclusive Wooldridge Jet Tunnel to make a hull that can handle challenging shallow river conditions easily with excellent cornering and control. While at the same time, it also allows the jet foot to be raised higher off the bottom, keeping it better protected and in clean water. Add to that the material of the hull itself, HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is an incredibly durable and impact-resistant plastic, that has a slick surface that can glide over shallow bottom. So even if you do send it a little too hard and misjudge the corner you’re not dealing with a dented boat. Additionally, the HDPE hull is UV & chemical-resistant so you don’t have to worry about the plastic breaking down over time.
The new Wooldridge Rogue is essentially what many river runners want from a shallow-water boat, now with an incredibly durable and impact-resistant package. These boats are available to order now through Wooldridge Boats with about a 5-month build time with a fully decked out and powered Rogue coming in just under $63,000. Each of these fully welded HDPE Hulls comes with a Lifetime Limited Hull Warranty to the original buyer.
