In this video, I head out like the jolly swagman into the darkest depths of the Norfolk wilderness (well, to the end of my garden anyway) for a muddy winter lockdown overnighter.
My shelter of choice is a super comfortable canvas swag from Outhaus co and tarp. After foraging firewood (from my log store) I set about processing it down into thinner pieces in order to get a cozy fire lit. Dinner is a new ingredient to me – an oddly named, but absolutely delicious sausage called Groats Pudding, lathered in taste bud tingling sauce from the lovely people at Norfolk based The One Food Company. A couple of scrumptious ales later and it’s time for the obligatory hot chocolate and a very comfortable nights sleep.
Morning brings coffee, a tour of my sleeping arrangements and the pricze draw for my recent 100k subscriber giveaway.
Congratulations to the winners!
I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
