My brother @XanderBudnick and I introduce our dad, who’s in his 60s, to his first winter camping experience. We embarked on a 4-day hot tent backcountry trip in the Sudbury area of Ontario, Canada. Fortunately, the weather gods smiled upon us, providing ideal snow and ice conditions for pulling our sleds. This made the journey exceptionally beautiful and enjoyable, allowing us to indulge in some delightful side hikes.
Despite the inherent challenges of winter camping, our dad had an absolute blast and seems eager to embark on another adventure soon. Woohoo!
