Jess celebrated her sister’s birthday with her, hiking and staying at a fun hotel, so I took the opportunity to camp the same night. I set up my tarp right by a beautiful mountain creek, fished all throughout the day to no avail, and had a good time by the campfire cooking ramen and enjoying the sounds of a light rain in the afternoon.
