I can’t help but to watch this one and wish we were there again. The three of us set off to a magical blue lake to do a bit of backcountry campfire cooking and camping. To our surprise, we arrived to a very unhappy campsite poacher who later found himself in trouble with the police… We brushed that aside and enjoyed every bit of this overnighter. The Esquif Prospecteur and Echo never looked as good as they do on this lake. For the first night we cooked up some pork chops with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, grilled zucchini, fresh corn, and some apple sauce made over the fire. After enjoying a beautiful night under the stars(we ended up taking the tarps down), we woke up and cooked some french(Roman?) toast on our Petromax Firebowl. All-in-all it was a 10 out of 10 trip and I think we were all wishing we could stay a couple more nights.
