In this outdoor cooking adventure, the chicken is stuffed with onion and orange, coated with a rich spice mixture, wrapped tightly in foil, then completely covered with a seasoned salt crust made with eggs, orange peel and fresh herbs.
The chicken is slowly roasted over a natural wood fire beside a beautiful forest stream until the salt shell becomes hard and golden.
While the chicken cooks, I make fresh flatbread over the fire, fill it with melted cheese, then add tender roasted chicken for the final crispy, cheesy reveal.
