Part 2 of 3 – meal prep Sunday 💪
this is a big one because it involves all the effort for the week. if you think about it it’s just a bunch of chopping that may take time so get someone to help to make this faster or if you have a food processor to give you different cuts, even better
this meal prep will take you 2 hours (it took me around 3.5 because of shooting the video) and will save you so much time in the week. I have laid down the exact thought process and time saved for each final dish on my website! It contains all parts like menu planning, prep and making final dishes throughout the week.
Storing the stuff you make on this day is the most important day to ensure you get the best out of your ingredients. It’s also important to know when each ingredients or dish is made to know how to store your prepped food. Meals and elements can be moved around ofcourse but ensure you keep spoilage time in mind. Eg – chicken kept in the fridge should be eaten within two days but if you’re going to eat it later in the week, freeze it. Ingredients like paneer don’t need any prep so it wasn’t used today. The chicken for the noodles wasn’t prepped today either because it was going to be used later in the week and needs no marination.
let me know if you have any questions or tips! detailed blog is on the website ✍️
