Benchmade is back with the newest addition to their award-winning line of fishing knives, with a new model of the Fishcrafter fillet knives. The new Fishcrafter 5″ fillet knife is a smaller fillet knife offering from Benchmade, tuned for smaller species of fish like crappie, panfish, and perch. Just like the rest of the Water Collection, this new fillet knife is made of the premium CPM-Magnacut steel, an incredibly rust-resistant steel that has great edge retention and hardness. Making for a very sharp and durable knife. For the grind of the Fishcrafter 5″ Benchmade uses their SelectEdge tech to make a very thin profile, flexible knife that is razor-sharp. The handle is made of textured Depth Blue Santoprene, which stays grippy even when wet, perfect for cleaning a mess of bluegill or Spanish mackerel at the dock. Additionally, the knife comes with Benchmade’s Lifesharp Guarantee and lifetime warranty, so if anything happens to the knife or the edge finally does dull, Benchmade has you covered for the life of the blade. MSRP for the Fishcrafter 5″ is set at $225 and will be available in March.
