Lolly my Boxer puppy is now 9 months old. and I decided to teach her about camp life.
rather than take her camping and her having a bad experience I decided that she would benefit from a day trip out in the forest. And I would do all the things I would do while camping so she can get used to it. and then take her home in the evening.
so I set up camp, lit a camp fire and cooked some primitive food. including caveman steak, camp fire eggs and Bannock on a stick.
obviously I shared these with her to re-enforce the positive experience.
I think it worked. she did great!
