This is a beautiful campground that’s very popular and tends to get crowded in summer. Perfect for couples and families who don’t mind a lot of activity around the camp. What makes this a great site is that it’s right on the lake. So there’s plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. The Devils Fork has excellent amenities, including water and electrical hook-ups, showers, toilets, a sanitary dump, and available firewood.

Burrells Ford camp is a short drive from Lake Jocassee. Just a quarter of a mile from the camp is the Chattooga River, great for fishing or swimming. It’s a popular spot in peak season, so it gets a little crowded. Burrells Ford has basic amenities such as vault toilets and picnic tables.

Oconee campground is within a short drive of Lake Jocassee and right next to Lake Oconee. It’s an excellent place for groups of friends and families. There’s plenty to enjoy in the area, from water activities to hiking and enjoying the local wildlife. In June, the local festivities begin, with group activities such as square dancing and pedal boating competitions. This is a popular campground, so it’s a good idea to make reservations in advance. The Oconee Campground has good amenities, including water and electric hook-ups, bathroom and showers.
