I recently found my old, worn-out tent buried deep inside the storage shed, and I decided to take it out for a solo winter camping trip. At first, it felt like a fun throwback, but things quickly changed when heavy snow began to fall. The temperature dropped fast, the wind became stronger, and suddenly this tiny, thin tent felt far too fragile for the harsh weather. With almost no protection against the cold, I had to figure out how to stay warm, stay safe, and survive the next two days alone in the wilderness.
