The Roc Shield camping shelter is back for another rainy solo trip ,hotter temperatures and the arrival of mosquitos ask for some adjustment to the set up. I use the inner mesh from my one person Spyder tent to counter the bugs and a different sleep system.I cook myself a nice meal on the campfire and after a relaxing evening i go to sleep to the sound of the rain .
Morning bring back the sun so i can finally use the very nice fire ring on site ,i skip breakfast because of my rather late supper … I enjoy a quiet and pleasant morning with good coffee,the sun transforming water droplets in tiny diamonds all over the place makes the place magical ,i took the time for a walk and flew my drone for a while.
I no longer hesitate if the weather channel call for rain , i go and camp anyway , and most of the time i end up having a wonderful time .
