If you don’t have much experience with caulk, make sure you’re prepared!
Protection
When using caulk between the baseboard and floor, I recommend using tape until you get the hang of it! This will ensure the caulk is going exactly where you want it to go.
Drippy Caulk
As beginners, you should definitely use a dripless caulk gun to avoid this from happening. Unfortunately, mine is broken and sometimes I forget to press the release lever which stops it from coming out the tip.
Cleaning Caulk
Make sure you keep your caulk tip clean after each pass. Keep rags or lots of paper towel around. If you’re a first timer, chances are you’ll be nervous at first when handling caulk. Keeping a neat workspace is very important 🙂
