New “How to Hunt Deer” Podcast with Sportsmen’s Nation Podcast Network
The National Deer Association has partnered up with the Sportsmen’s Nation Podcast Network to launch an all-new podcast series called “How to Hunt Deer.” As the name implies this new 16-part weekly podcast is all about introducing new hunters into the world of hunting deer and giving them the confidence they need to have a successful hunt. The How to Hunt Deer podcast will be hosted by Dan Johnson, CEO of Sportsmen’s Nation, Hank Forester, the NDA Director of Hunting, and Matt Ross, the NDA Director of conservation.

All three hosts are experienced hunters and outdoorsmen and are producing the How to Hunt Deer podcast with the intention to share their comprehensive advice with new and experienced hunters alike. From advice on where and when to hunt deer, what type of firearm or bow to select, and lessons on scouting deer and predicting deer behavior the podcast will have everything you need to be sure of your next hunt.

The first episode, launched on June 24th covers “Knowing the Rules and Regulations” and will be followed up in episode two by “Where to Hunt”. The NDA has made it a top strategic priority to give hunters all the education they need through both in-person programs and newer programs like the How to Hunt Deer podcast. Future episodes will focus on subjects like scouting, hunting techniques, shot selection, and all the way through to recovering and processing deer. Even if you’re a seasoned hunter this podcast would be a great refresher to listen to on your way to and from work to keep your head in the game even when you’re not out in the field.
