Fish are clever creatures and use all sorts of cover to hide and the Flip & Punch will “flip and punch” through just about anything you can throw at it.

Hook

When designing the Flip & Punch thought it prudent to shorten the point length which means less hook exposure. The reduced exposure means that the hook can now travel through heavy cover without getting caught up while still having enough hook exposure to penetrate through the biggest of bass mouths.

Bass can grow quite large and even a medium-sized 5lb bass can be a tough battle for an experienced angler. The new hook can withstand both the weight of bigger catches plus the additional weight of weeds and grass. The G-Power Flip & Punch ensures that you’ll get your catch and can decide later if you want to keep the salad you brought up with it. The G-Power Flip & Punch hook is available from the Gamakatsu website starting at $10.27 per 4 hooks and comes in sizes 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, and 5/0. All of the hooks come coated in Gamakatsu’s Nano Coat.
