I’ve seen a ton of motorcycle camping tent videos out there, and while many are super informative, they’re also almost overwhelming in the amount of nitpicky details they consider. The question you really want answered is “what moto camping tent do I actually need so I can go motocamping?” then this video is for you.
The way I see it, there are multiple tiers when it comes to motorcycle camping gear. You’ve got your basic, cheap entry level tents for motorcycle camping that will do the job but not last particularly long. The next step up is the 2 person backpacking tents that pack smaller and are sturdier, but cost a bit more. Then finally you have the top tier “bikepacking” tents for motorcycle camping that cost a lot more, pack extremely small, and are very sturdy.
