In the self-defense planet, your goal is to not just put rounds accurately for the target but do so whilst preventing getting shot but not sending rounds into bystanders. A very simplistic definition of self-defense shooting, but those would be the main goals. In competitors, no one is shooting back again, and the only goal is definitely speed, and in some contests, hits on target designed for points.
