Healthy Meal Prep Tips: Portion Control
Anytime your meal prepping, portion control is key. Just ask BPI Athlete and Clean Creations owner Barbara Bolotte who recommends using muffin tins when cooking. “They’re prefect for 4-ounce portions and on-the-go healthy eating,” she says. Veggies, egg muffins, mini meat loafs, that you can just pop out and then transfer into a container.
Another tip is to use a food scale to weigh protein especially if you’re looking to reduce your caloric intake. Measuring cups are great for scooping and portioning out your carbs like brown rice and sweet potato.
