***TIP 2. Your veggies don’t always have to be fresh. Frozen veggies are great if you are pressed for time.

***TIP 3. Use different seasoning and sauces to change up the flavours to give your taste buds variety.

***TIP 5. Know your food storage times for the regridgerator and freezer.

⦁ Cooked chicken or meat keeps in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days.

⦁ Cooked chicken or meat in the freezer is best eaten within 2 to 6 months.

⦁ Cooked rice keeps in the fridge for 3 to 5 days.

⦁ Cooked rice in the freezer is best eaten within 6 months.

Use common sense with these guidelines. If it looks funny, smells funny or tastes funny, it’s probably best to discard it. If in doubt throw it out.
