The actual campground is called Mesa Campground, which is inside the State Recreation Area. You can swim, fish, waterski, and hike, among many other things.

The Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area offers full hook-ups for RVs, picnic tables, rings, showers, and toilets. Keep in mind, since this is the only campsite on Silverwood Lake, it gets booked very quickly during peak season.

There’s plenty of boating and fishing opportunities nearby, plus a water slide park. Dogwood Campground has picnic tables, drinkable water, toilets, and showers.

The sites at North Shore Campground are spaced out and have some gorgeous trees for shade on hot summer days.

Just a mile down the road, there are some convenience stores for buying supplies you may have forgotten to pack. Overall, it’s a peaceful campground surrounded by nature.

Skypark RV Camp Resort is a fun camp offering many activities, from rock climbing and fly fishing to archery. They also have a bike park and an ice skating rink ideal for roller skating in summer. The campground at Green Valley Lake Recreation Area is right next to Lake Arrowhead and under an hour’s drive from Silverwood Lake. The surroundings are beautiful, and there’s great fishing and boating activities available. It’s the perfect alternative to camping right next to Silverwood Lake while still making day trips to that area feasible.
