Generous salt
Generous pepper
3 cloves of garlic – coursely chopped
1 onion, coursely chopped
1.5 tbspn soy sauce
1/2 cup sauce
1 tin diced tomato
250ml stock
1/4 cup american mustard (or 1/4 cup dijon)
1 warm beer (or 350ml of water)
350ml water
3 tbspn brown sugar
(Optional) hot sauce or chilli
