I quit using blue plastic tarps for camping and pretty much everything else. Now I just use a canvas tarp and I love it. Cotton duck canvas is more expensive than cheap blue plastic tarps, but it’s more durable, quiet, and useful for all sorts of things around camp. There are many alternatives to this canvas tarp, some are cheaper than the White Duck and some cost more. Be sure to double check what you’re getting, many are not cotton duck canvas, but polyester or some other cheaper or lighter/less durable synthetic material they just call canvas.
