There’s no argument that .357 Magnum isn’t a man-stopper. The success of this round has kept it in vogue since its introduction in 1934. Just as time has lead to advancements in the caliber’s ballistics, it’s also lead to better guns to carry it in. Revolvers are still being carried every day in this country. People are quick to dismiss them as antiquated, but Smith & Wesson has been fit to continue bringing the revolver into the modern age. Now new from the Smith & Wesson Performance Center, this is the Model 19 Carry Comp!
Designed for concealed carry, this new Model 19 Carry Comp® features a 2.5″ PowerPort vented barrel for exceptional recoil management in a small and strong k-frame package.
The NEW S&W Model 19 Carry Comp
The Model 19 Carry Comp is a carry gun that’s full of features. The barrel is 2.5 inches and is PowerPort vented. The vent at the top of the barrel helps tame the roar of the .357 Magnum keeping you on target. Just behind that vent is a tritium front night sight. This is paired with a fully adjustable blacked-out rear sight. The gun leaves the Performance Center with a fresh trigger job. The trigger also features an overtravel stop. The barrel, frame, and cylinder are made of carbon steel. The matte blue finish complements the custom wood and synthetic grips. The k-frame size makes the gun small enough to conceal and large enough to shoot comfortably.
