I ventured into the mountains for a winter camping trip, setting up my campsite in a beautiful old cedar forest. The weather was windy and cold, with a forecast anticipating an approaching storm , my favorite conditions. However, instead of snow, I experienced violent hailstorms, high winds, and an exceptionally cold night.
