There is nothing new about the old Hobo Pocket, you can experiment with a few different ingredients, but one thing never changes: it’s a recipe that brings the family together. Putting your favorite toppings in your little packet, sitting around the fire ring while waiting for the food to be ready and enjoying some music, jokes, stories and the smell of the fire itself with the delicious food cooking. Come on, that’s what family camping it’s all about.
Another aspect that we like about making Hobo Pockets, is that we usually have leftovers and the following morning we can easily throw everything on the griddle or Cast Iron with a couple eggs and transform it into a tasty breakfast.
