CAMPFIRE COOKING – SIMPLE CAMPFIRE BREAKFAST WITH A VINTAGE BREAD TOASTER AND HOMEMADE GEAR
We decided to do some “campfire cooking” today. We used a vintage stovetop bread toaster, a military mess kit and some homemade gear to make a simple campfire breakfast at our camp in the woods.
For the people on Instagram, you will see the SPAM slicer I made cut SPAM for the very first time! 😂
Not the best tool in the world for the task, but it was fun making it and using it.
Flint and steel fire making, mess kit cooking, forged cooking gear and an antique toaster as well as my son are in this video making a simple campfire breakfast at our bushcraft camp in the woods.
Josh at QuicksandOutdoors gave me this piece of flint when we were camping In Kentucky . He makes knives and arrow points out of rocks. He’s just starting out on YouTube… you can find him here…. https://youtube.com/channel/UCRPv8np03yzHcdaSNaAgALw
Say Hi to Josh and tell him I sent you over.
Ray at @RiverbendlongbowsOutdoors is an avid outdoorsman and talented craftsman who you should be following if you’re not already.
As usual, I appreciate you watching and commenting. If you like this kind of stuff why not subscribe? It’s free! 🤣😂🤣
