Camp Fire Cooking. Spit Roast Leg of Lamb with Wild Mint Sauce. Mint Tea.

In this video, I seize a rare opportunity to head out to the woods with my son Tom. We find a nice quiet spot by the river and prepare a fire so that we can cook up a bit of lunch. is on the menu, accompanied by a delicious (ketchup for the teenager) and mint tea. Lush!

It was a good opportunity to use my new campfire set from Trevor at . An ingenious bit of adjustable kit that holds the meat perfectly for a juicy campfire roast. I have become a huge fan of Trevor’s hand forged gear, beautifully made by hand using materials that will last a lifetime of use in the hottest of campfires. Quality, locally made gear.

I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks for watching!
