Blacktail Hunting Must-Haves in Northern California
Women’s hunting clothing has come a long way in recent years. We no longer have to suffer from wearing men’s clothes that don’t fit properly and are not comfortable for the woman’s body type. Because let’s face it, we’ve all been there struggling with the lowered crotch, small waistband and slender thighs in the conventional men’s line. I don’t know about you, but I’m not into pulling the crotch of my pants up every time I go to crawl over a pile of deadfall. We need hunting clothes that fit, are functional and even better made by women who know what we need!
Girls with Guns Clothing offers an array of hunting clothes to fit every climate and hunting style. So, whether you’re an avid bowhunter or rifle hunter GWG has you covered.
Here is my must have list of GWG gear when blacktail hunting in Northern California:
Stalker ¼ zip long sleeve – This added base layer keeps me insulated on those cold mornings
and can be easily removed and put into my pack without taking up space once the sun comes
up.
Stalker 1/4 Zip Long Sleeve | Shade
$44.99 – $49.99
Artemis Midweight 3 Layer Softshell Jacket – This is a hunters dream jacket with its tapered sleeves, quiet fabric, 4-way stretch and under arm ventilation!
Artemis 3 Layer Softshell Jacket
$119.99 – $129.99
Aoraki Lightweight Pant – With the 4-way stretch, articulated knees, adjustable waste band and inseam these pants allow me to move easily in spot and stalk situations without making noise.
Nature’s Paint – Nature’s Paint is my go-to camo face paint. With it’s easy on, easy off application and natural ingredients, my skin is left feeling clean and healthy at the end of a hunt.
Rain Gear – The weather is unpredictable mid October in California. It can be mid 70’s and hot or raining cats and dogs so I always like to be comfortable and prepared and that means having my rain gear so I don’t get wet!
Girls with Guns Clothing has done an amazing job designing a hunting line that works for all environments and hunting styles. Jen and Norissa know who their customers are, and are committed to uplifting and uniting us women and hunters and for that I am so thankful.
