BACK TO SCHOOL PREP 2025 is HERE! 🍎✏️ As a veteran mom of 5, I’ve learned over the years that a little organization, decluttering, and preparation goes a long way in making the school year smoother. Today I’m sharing all of my realistic mom hacks, organizing ideas, and motivation to help you get ready for back to school season!
Here’s what I tackle in this video:
✨ Homework Station Refresh — I put together a dedicated spot in our house where my kids can always find pens, pencils, scissors, sticky notes, markers, and all the homework essentials. No more “Mom, where’s a pencil?!” right before homework time!
✨ Lunch Container Drawer Overhaul — saying goodbye to our old Rubbermaid LunchBlox system and hello to updated containers that actually work for the way my kids eat now. Smaller snack containers for my older kids who mostly buy lunch, and fresh new finds for Meredith who needs a full day’s worth of food.
✨ Water Bottle Organization — a total game-changer in our house! With 5 kids, mornings are chaotic enough without hunting for bottles and lids. I’m sharing how I keep them all together, matching, and easy to grab-and-go.
✨ Lunchbox Cabinet Reset — we decluttered and refreshed our lunchbox storage, keeping extras on hand while making the space functional again.
✨ Preparedness Pouches for After-School Activities — I created emergency kits for my older girls with snacks, chapstick, money, hair ties, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and more. Perfect for busy sports/game days when they’re gone for hours!
✨ Teacher Gift Ideas (Fall-Themed!) — I love spoiling our teachers with simple but thoughtful gifts. This year’s fall gifts included gift cards, pens, sanitizer, cute seasonal post-its, and a festive touch tied up with a bow!
✨ Back to School Clothing Declutter — we went through socks, clothes, and more to refresh closets before the year begins. Minimalist style, low-key decluttering, and a reset for a fresh start.
