What’s your cold weather sleep set up? ❄️ Here’s mine ⬇️
I use a cot when I can to put more air between me and the ground. Then, I put a thick memory foam mattress on top of that. Next, I unroll my canvas bedroll on top of my sleeping pad, which is already stuffed with a -50 rated fleece sleeping bag and with a heavy wool blanket folded inside.
This bedroll is awesome, especially for cold weather camping. It’s water repellent, seals in my body heat, and keeps my sleeping area clean and free of sticks and leaves. It comes with dowel rods that prop up the vent in the front, which helps fresh air circulate without making me too cold. You can even pull the canvas flap over the vent to further protect yourself from cold air.
This warm, cozy setup fits easily in a tent or in the back of my car. PLUS, it’s barn cat approved. 🐈⬛
