Bushcraft Survival Camping | Shelter Build + Campfire Cooking

I spent the night solo camping in a hand built bushcraft survival shelter deep in the New Zealand wilderness. With high winds and a cold night ahead, I set up an open fire to stay warm and cook some incredible campfire food – pork ribs slow over the flames, a massive tomahawk steak, and fresh bread baked on a stick for breakfast.

Along the way I drank from crystal-clear mountain rivers, spotted wild deer, finally tried some Kawakawa and had one of the most enjoyable days I’ve ever had in the bush!
