Why Our Rotisserie Spit Needs a Wood Handle | Campfire Cooking

Cooking Cornish game hens over the campfire on our Road Grill rotisserie spit taught us something important. Our 2-in-1 rotisserie spit holder and pot hook needs to be fixed. In this clip, we talk about the rotisserie spit holder and why we’re planning to add a wooden handle to make adjusting the rotation lock easier and safer.

We’ve been using welding gloves and even a Leatherman to grab the metal while cooking, but a simple wood handle will make outdoor cooking with the Road Grill even smoother. This is the kind of real-world testing that helps us improve our camping and overlanding gear.
