Abu Garcia Releases NEW Upgraded Max PRO Spinning Reel
Abu Garcia has upgraded the Max Pro with a stylish new look and some innovative upgrades. Part of the well-beloved Max family of spinning reels that, has been many anglers entry-level spinning reel all over the world for the past decade. And since that initial release, technology for spinning reels has kept moving forward, as has the Max PRO. The new Max PRO spinning reel has been overhauled, starting with a 7+1 stainless steel ball-bearing system and a Carbon Matrix Drag System. These features have been inspired and brought in from the Abu Garcia Revo and Zenon spinning reels, to give anglers a premium buttery smooth drag system in a lower-priced spinning reel option. Additionally, the Max PRO Spinning Reel also features Abu Garcia’s Rocket Line Management system and Rocket Spool Lip design to reduce wind knots and improve line lay and control for a better fishing experience on the water.
Like the other reels in the Max family; the Max X and Max SX, the Max PRO has a lightweight graphite asymmetric body and V-Rotor and V-Spool design to help reduce the weight of the reel and lower start-up inertia. The Max PRO Spinning reels are available in 5 sizes, from 750 to 4000 and all have a 6.2:1 gear ratio. MSRP for the reels comes in at $79.99.
