My favorite meal in the RVđđŒ
Save for future reference
One of the concerns I had about moving into an RV that I wouldnât be able to make my favorite recipes anymore. When it comes to meals in the oven, thatâs probably true. But when cooking on the stove I found I can pretty much do it all!
This meal is so delicious and takes about 40 minutes to make đ
Ingredients:
1 pound Italian sausage (we use mild and add a bunch of red pepper)
Bag of bacon bits
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 cups chicken broth
3 cups of red potatoes diced
1 cup kale (I donât use kale anymore because I donât really like it)
1 cup heavy cream (maybe more đ)
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
Cook the Italian sausage with red pepper flakes in a pot, big enough to boil 8 cups of water in. Once done strain the meat to get rid of all the extra grease.
In the same pot, add the bacon, onion and garlic and cook till onions are caramelized.
once done add in the 8 cups of chicken stock. We just use water and chicken bullion. And throw in potatoes (chop them thin so they cook quick!)
Once cooked, add in the heavy cream! Then youâre done!
