I used this 1637 Pendulum Clock invention by Galileo to power my Chicken Rotisserie Spit at Pisgah Mountain Campground on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.

Mary Ann’s Marinade for Small Chicken:
Place 2 cups water in med. pot
Add:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/8 – 1/4 cup sea salt
2 cloves chopped garlic
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp black peppercorns
1/4 cup white wine
Bring ingredients to boil and then simmer for 40 minutes
When cool, place chicken in zip lock bag and add marinade
Let marinade for 3 days, flipping at least one time daily
