Solo camping with my camper trailer and cooking my dinner on the campfire beside the Gungarlin River in the Koscuiszko National Park.
I char grilled a few chicken drum sticks over the coals of my campfire, with a few veggies tossed in my cast iron fry pan with a dash of garlic to enhance those amazing flavours that come from campfire cooking.
Dinner was amazing as i kicked back on a on wood pile to enjoy dinner with stunning views of the high elevation open plain.
The birds singing in the nearby trees made for a very relaxing dinner.
When i arrived the sun was shinning and very little wind.
How quickly that changed over night with very strong winds and very heavy rain.
Thats what can happen when camping at high elevation and in full snow country during winter.
The next day, i thought it would be best to pack up my camper trailer while i had a small break in the weather, and head out.
When towing a camper trailer, you really need to be careful of the weather.
At least i had great weather to sit around my campfire and cook up a wicked dinner on the campfire.
I’ll come back some day.
