Fireman’s Chili Recipe:
Mince beef 500g (1lb)
1 tin of Heinz beans in tomato sauce
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
Clove of garlic
2 oxo ( meat cubes)
Pinch of salt
Chilli powder ( mild or hot)
Brown the mince in a frying pan.
Add beans and tomatoes to a saucepan.
Crush and chop garlic ad some to mince in a frying pan and put the rest into a saucepan.
Add chili powder to a saucepan and one meat stock cube (oxo).
While mince is browning add a pinch of chili powder and meat stock cube to mince to get the flavor into the ground beef (we call it minced in UK EK).
Once browned add the mince to the saucepan.
Add a little water if required and heat through.
It’s ready in 15 mins.
Can be eaten hot or cold.
