Come hiking and camping with my dog Indi and I as we head out in the pouring rain to go wild camping in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. We were drenched by the rain but found ourselves a lovely flat and dry spot alongside a snow covered clearing with a mountain tarn. Surrounding us were amazing granite stone cliffs, with a thundering waterfall in the distance. It rained all night and in to the morning and I enjoyed sitting under the tarp and lying in the tent listening to the sound of the rain.
In this video I really tried to capture the beauty of the environment so that I could share it with you, from the mossy green forests to the thundering rivers, it was an incredibly beautiful trip that gave me space to reflect and just to be.
