Hi everyone,
Sounds of Camping Epidode 4 is here and we hope you like it!
In this episode we travelled only 1hour and 20 min from our home to a place close to Lake Wivenhoe in Queensland / Australia.
The camping spot was right on a hilltop with some crazy panoramic views. It was dog friendly so we could bring Ted with us 🙂 We were quite exposed to elements. It was very windy on the first day, so tarp setup was quite a challenge. But we managed to set it up wind resistant and did not have to worry about it for the rest of the stay 🙂
In this video we cooked Prawn with Garlic / Butter / Cheese on top plus Barramundi Fish Fillets.
For breakfast we had butter fried olive sourdough with Egg / Paprika / Red Onion mix. Topped with Balsamic Glaze.
For dinner we had stew provided to us by the friendly hosts. It was a mix of veggies and meat.

Review:
The host was great. We had a small introduction chat at the start with couple of rules. As we went to the campsite we noticed it was quite windy. You are exposed to elements, so it is recommended to have the right camping gear for it. It’s quite windy, but only couple of hours in the day. There was no wind at all in the evenings and mornings. Not many trees around, so it is important to bring enough camping gear for shade.
The views were stunning and a treat to look at during the whole stay.
We definetly would recommend camping there.
