In this video, Andy (Kent Survival) and I head off to the woods in our off-road vehicles for an overland overnight 4×4 camp.
Having arrived at a peaceful spot deep in the Kentish woodland, we set up our vehicles for the night – Andy in his roof-top tent with his awning deployed and me in my hammock inside my Land Rover 110 also with the awning out for a bit of shade.
We set about the usual camp chores of finding and preparing firewood and lighting a fire to cook on. Andy is on dinner duty and you know its going to be good! All washed down with a couple of good beers.
A restful nights sleep despite the overnight rain and its my turn to cook – a hearty full English fry-up – yum.
Oh, and a prize draw for tickets to the CAMRA Great British Beer Festival in August, hopefully see some of you there!
I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
