I went solo camping witg my cat deep into a beautiful wild forest, where the ferns grew as high as my chest and wild lingonberries covered the forest floor.
I hadn’t even finished setting up my pyramid tent when heavy rain and thunderstorms suddenly arrived, followed by hail. I had to hide from the storm with my cat inside the tent while it was still lying on the ground. When the hail became really strong, it was honestly scary. I got completely soaked before I could finally finish setting up our camp.
After the storm, I collected firewood, lit the wood stove and turned the tent into a warm and cozy shelter. I made tea with wild lingonberries, cooked a meal on the wood-burning stove, and made homemade lingonberry sauce to go with the meat.
The fresh forest air, the sound of birds singing and crickets chirping, and the peaceful sounds of nature made this night truly special. 🦉🌲🦗
That night, my cat and I spent the night together in our warm tent, listening to the rain outside. 🌧️🔥🐈
